I love to travel and I love to take photographs, so naturally, I love to take photographs whilst travelling. I like to try and connect with the place and people I am visiting, and often express this through quirky photos and candid images, through which I try to show some of the flavour of place, whilst being evocative of the sights, smells & sounds which were surrounding me at the time.  

One of my favourite places in the world: both for travelling on business and for leisure travel -- the intensity of life, from the bustle of the inner cities and madness of the traffic on every road, to the beauty of the coast and hills. A truly absorbing experience, the sights, sounds and smells of India draw me in every time. What I've mostly tried to convey is both the intensity of the experience, but also the openness and friendliness of the people. Hopefully the use of selective colour also brings through the amazing colours which abound, from shop adverts to tea plantations and everything between.

The first place I travelled to, and still one of my favourites -- an easy destination to get to, but a country which warrants deeper and deeper investigation and understanding. From the architectural beauty of Paris (and the studied, deliberate aloofness of Parisiennes) to the physical beauty of the Alps and the mind-bending colours of the sea on the Cote d'Azur, there is so much diversity to enjoy.
